HANAKABUTO with Guardian deites

桃山三の描く「守り神」たちは、次世代の未来をあたたかく見守る存在として描かれています。
特定の宗教を示すものではなく、祈りの象徴として生まれました。

各神の加護は、桃山三が古来の言い伝えに基づきながらも、武力ではなく平和へと向かう力に焦点を当て、希望と祈りを込めて再構築した解釈です。

The Guardian Deities depicted by Momoyama Soo are portrayed as benevolent beings who watch over the future of the next generation with warmth and compassion.

They do not represent any particular religion, but were created as universal symbols of hope, protection, and prayer.

The blessings associated with each deity are Momoyama Soo's own artistic interpretations. While inspired by ancient traditions and folklore, they have been reimagined with an emphasis not on military power, but on the strength to foster peace, expressing the artist's hopes and prayers for a brighter future.

『花兜の風神雷神』

Flower Helmet: Fūjin and Raijin

　「風神雷神」は、自然の力を神格化した一対の存在であり、

古来より「祈り」と「畏れ」の対象として信仰されてきました。

風（気候）と雷（雨）によって生命が育まれるという観点から、

五穀豊穣や自然の循環の象徴でもあります。　

本作では、その風神雷神を子供の姿で表現することで、

「この世界は次世代のためにある」というメッセージと、

未来へ自然環境をつなぐという祈りを込めています。

Fūjin and Raijin, the Wind God and Thunder God, are a pair of deities who personify the forces of nature.

Since ancient times, they have been revered as objects of both prayer and awe.

Because wind shapes the climate and thunder brings the rain that nourishes life, they have also come to symbolize abundant harvests and the natural cycle of renewal.

In this work, Momoyama Soo portrays Fūjin and Raijin as children to express the belief that the world exists for future generations and to convey a prayer that the natural environment will be protected and passed on to those who come after us.

The Four Symbols are the sacred guardian beasts of the four cardinal directions. Originating from ancient astronomy and feng shui, they symbolize the harmony of the directions and the Five Elements. Their supreme leader is the Qilin, the most revered of all auspicious mythical creatures.
